Stir this mixture together with 1/2 teaspoon or 2 grams salt, 1/2 cup or 120 ml cooking oil, and 1 cup or 240 ml apple juice. To this mixture, add 1 egg and 2 cups or 340 grams diced apples. Stir until the ingredients are well combined. Bake in a 350 F/180 C oven for 20 to 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out cleanly.
Another great way to incorporate apples into your diet is through apple juice. Apple juice has been shown to lower blood pressure by as much as 10 percent. There’s no need to worry about the sugar content of apple juice, either — research shows that blood sugar levels remain stable after drinking it. Just make sure that your apples are organic and free of pesticides.
The next time you’re cooking, try getting some fresh apples into the mix. Apples are a great source of fiber, and their benefits extend beyond the digestive system.
